Oxil enters the field, calling out, "All Gladiators of Scale or high come to the field, now!!!!!"

Fort walks up to Rafe and Dalt, " As the saying goes; anything you tell to three people isn't a secret."
Rafe, "Adventure Abounds! Let's do this."
Walking down the street Macsen says to Faltina," I hear you killed a Phase Dragon with a dagger? Thats tough. Double tough."
Rafe: "Larz; who did you have in mind to fight Faltina for her Blade Challenge? And... who did you want me to fight for your Ludus' Blade Challenge?"
Larz says,"Gartex, you fought him to raise him to Blade. My Challenger is Zanach, Grade Warrior. We also have a Blade wanting to challenge for Front, and a Gladiator challenging for Scale. Can you post at least one for each? I guess you have more then one challenger?
Rafe calls over Fort, Dalt, Mascen and Vek and talks things over. He also points out the other Ludus' Pavillion and that no one has yet to make an appearance from there. Vek and Dalt arrive at the table.
Vek says "I've a Scale; Tashana Hendrake." Dalt says "I do as well, Canny Cantain." Macsen says, "And me."
"Ligdan, House Desadal, Lord Gladiator, Ludus Master, this is Terbish-Bond, Borachu-Scale, Kueken, gladiator. We can fill spots in all ranks challenges. I want at least two. I have a blade with papers to Front and a warrior looking for grade. I will pay each fighter in challenges today, win or lose, a gold Aureus. Field Master, i stake you 10 Aureus for your troubles today. If Chaosian red gold is acceptable."
Vek steps from the crowd, looking up."Duke Ligdan. Condolence to your house for the loss of its Duke. I will certainly accept Red Gold."
He looks to Vek," You are Vek Hendrake. You know there is a high price in some quarters for your head. And prices for everything else to be served at feasts."
Vek nods, " I know. Are you here to try and collect? I find myself suitable equipped to defend myself and my people."
He smiles, "Another time and place. We have given our word to only fight in the arena unless attacked. So lets be on with it."
Rafe is called for the Challenge. Sylex walks with him to see Geata's challenge to Scale. Fort and Faltina are watching too.
Faltina says "Geata is Commons Pantheon? She has few followers I hear. Her fighting style is amazing. Perhaps I should join her Following?
Fort says "You'll break Tarooos's heart. You are the only other Athenan beside him. I'll explain to him that they are not mutually exclusive. Rafe! Quite a tourney you arranged. Lizards, Tosians, Garlanders and Chaosians..."
"OH MY." Rafe says to complete his last sentence, then laughs. "Yeeaaaaahh.... it has kinda snowballed, hasn't it?" He laughs. "Guess I really do know how to throw a party. Now if you will all excuse me, I have to go kick the crap out of a big ole lizard."
Fort groans. " This will be tricky." Faltina asks: “What?” Fort answers, "Geata's husband is here and has been watching invisibly... He is a fanatic about Lizard men. Hates them. Killed them in the Gesheka arena."
Zatonic comes into view to hug Geata. He is 9' tall and rippling with muscles, a Rank Gladiator but word is he could have screened as a Lord Gladiator. The lizards come out from tents to see him. Oxil comes from his throne looking like he is walking toward the Strongman of Tosa. Fort says, "No one but Alexandir could stop him."
"Or perhaps Benedict." Rafe replies without taking his eyes from the spectacle that is about to begin. "I wonder if somebody should call him........ Benedict, I mean."
Fort says,"Zat is pretty calm tempered. But if its going to be a fight he will start them. So... Rafe.... this is your event.... Go tell them to behave..." He chuckles.
"I'm already on Oxil's bad side for my smart mouth. Think I'll just stand here and watch." Rafe replies.
Zat and the Lizard are talking quietly but with stern faces. Geata is in her famous pose. Curious, who didn't have to fight Geata has returned to cat form. He saunters over and hisses at Oxil. Oxil's eyes go wide and he steps back away from Curious. Zatonic wraps Geata in the crook of his arm and walks off the field toward the Tosa tent.
Faltina asks, "ah...are lizardmen afraid of cats?"
"Well, on my home world” Rafe replies “normal lizards are, but I don't think that lizardmen are normally afraid of cats. But Curious is no normal cat.... and he has a reputation." Rafe chuckles.
Fort says, "As a Primas Illuminar, one never knows what to expect."
Zatonic and Geata come by Fort. Zat says in an impossibly deep voice," Fort... I'm going to need the word on that Scaled rat. Everything. Who. What. Who he lost to coming up. I want it all. Put a couple of yourselves on him. I'm taking his Lord's Seat." He walks into the tents.
"Welllll.... that just happened.” Rafe says with a shake of his head. “Damn. Isn't that the same Lord of the Games that Benedict challenged?" Rafe asks Fort.
Fort says, "No, that's this one's brother. The word is that they hate each other. Trexal. Neighbor boxes too."
"Ah. Well..... This adventure just keeps getting more and more interesting. I'm gonna have some great tales to tell in the Dramurtage one day." He laughs.
Fort says: "It would have been easier to kill him here where Zat could use his magic gear... oh well."
