The World

At the centre of the world are Hugaar, Pashnaar and the Star Mountains, over or around which the Sun passes every day.

The four edges of the world are impassable and are guarded by Rend.

• North North of Sirdehaar is a vast petrified forest within which Sird himself, the Rendking, has his Castle of Ice.
• East Beyond the eastern sea, the Rendwall is an impassable mountain range, is guarded by a tribe of giants led by an ancient Rend. Some say this wall was breached with the discovery and invasion of Potamanchu.
• South Past the Thousand Cities lies a great ocean where Rend sail cloud ships.
• West Beyond the Axarte Plains lie the Plains of Fire where a Rend rules over the greatest of the Vister tribes.
