Arkis is the grandson of a Serenshwa dissident and has inherited his destiny: to bring the True Word of Heironeus to the people, through word or through deed. Only this way will the people of Serenshwa be free. Raised in Paringuldi, he travels as a knight errant until word comes for him to act.
