"Sharpen your ears" - Elven expression, meaning "grow wiser" "Watching the spider's web" — Elven expression meaning "focusing on the wrong thing" "Arguing with ice" — Coldlander expression meaning "wasting your time" "Spring follows winter" — Elven expression meaning "all things pass" "And would you strip the bark from a treant?" — Elven expression meaning "Are you crazy?"
