Front of House (Audience Area)

Lobby: Space for audience members to gather before the show, with ticket counters, concession stands, and restrooms.
Box Office: Where tickets are purchased or picked up.
Seating Area (Auditorium): Includes orchestra seats, mezzanine, and balcony sections.
Orchestra Pit: A lowered area in front of the stage for musicians.
Concession Stands: Where food, drinks, and merchandise are sold.
Restrooms: Facilities for the audience.

Stage: The primary performance area, including the apron (front of the stage) and wings (sides of the stage).
Fly System (Ropes and Pulleys): Used to raise and lower scenery, lights, and sometimes performers.
Green Room: A waiting area for performers when they are not on stage.
Dressing Rooms: Private or shared spaces for performers to get into costume and makeup.
Costume Shop: Where costumes are maintained, repaired, and sometimes created.
Prop Room: Storage for props used in the performance.
Wardrobe Area: Space for storing costumes during the production.
Makeup Stations: Equipped with mirrors and lights for makeup application.
Stage Manager’s Booth: Often located backstage or in the wings, where the stage manager coordinates the show.
Crossover: A backstage pathway that allows performers to move from one side of the stage to the other without being seen.
Backstage Entrances (Stage Doors): Used by performers and crew to access the theater.

Lighting Booth: Where the lighting technician operates the lighting board.
Sound Booth: Where sound engineers manage microphones and audio equipment.
Rigging Loft (Grid): High above the stage, used to rig lighting, scenery, and effects.
Catwalks: Elevated walkways for accessing lighting and sound equipment.
Control Room: Often houses lighting and sound control boards.

Rehearsal Room: Separate space for practicing scenes or choreography.
Workshop: For constructing sets and scenery.
Loading Dock: Where large equipment, props, and sets are brought into the theater.
Fire Curtain: A safety feature located at the proscenium arch to protect the audience from fire on stage.
Orchestra Shell: Acoustic panels or shells used for musical performances.
House Manager’s Office: Space for managing audience-related operations.
