Mano a Mano:Character CP
Character CP
Add the CP of the character's Template to the character's total CP.
The character's build allows the character's power, health and agility to be different from the normal template values. Some templates do not allow all these builds. Mechanical characters may be built to exact specifications, while some animals vary in size more than others.
Small Builds CP Effect small -1 more agility but less health and power small and powerful +1 more agility but less health small and tough +2 more agility Weaker Builds CP feeble -9 less agility, health and power puny -5 less health and power delicate -3 less health wimpy -2 less power Typical Builds CP fast (light) +4 more agility normal 0 slow (heavy) -4 less agilty Athletic Builds CP fast and tough +7 more agility and health fast and powerful +6 more agility and power tough +3 more health powerful +2 more power Large Builds CP big +1 more health and power but less agility big and fast +5 more health and power big and very fast +9 more health, power and agility
Add the CP of the character's ability levels. (Ability levels are the difference between a character's ability modifiers and their template's ability modifiers.) An ability level has the same CP value as an ability modifier, but they are seperate. The template's ability modifier is already included in the template CP. A character's Ability CP is based on the character's ability levels, and not on the character's ability modifiers. For example, if a Character has a +6 modifier in Stealth ability and his Template has +4 Stealth, then he has 2 levels of Stealth, which is worth 3 CP. If a character has a -3 Nearsighted modifier and their template does not have this disability, then he has 3 levels of Nearsighted, which is worth -6 CP.
Disability General Ability or Skill Modifier 4 3 2 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 CP -10 -6 -3 -1 1 3 6 10 15 21 28 36
If the character is missing any of the limbs described in their Template, subtract the CP of the missing limbs.
- 3 CP for a Primary Limb
- 2 CP for a Secondary Limb
- 1 CP for an Other Limb
For example, if a Sword fighter looses his primary limb in a fight, his loss subtracts 3 CP from his Total CP. If he still has enough of a stub left to attack with, then his maimed primary limb may still be counted as an "Other Limb", and would only be a loss of 2 CP.
