Armor Proficiency (General, Ranked) You are trained in the use of armor.

Benefits:You are proficient with the use of armor that you meet the prerequisites for. You do not suffer the -4 penalty to attack rolls and defense while wearing that armor.

Note: Each armor type is assigned a prerequisite that is required before it can be used effectively. For example, a Chain Shirt has Prerequisite: Armor Proficiency 2. You have to have 2 ranks in Armor Proficiency before you can use it without penalty.
