These artefacts are a twin pair of items of incredible power created by Mordant Custodian of the Unbalanced Scale of Justice for Terrible Bloody Rose and her lunar mate, Shining Ocelot.
The Scepter[edit]
This item was wielded by Terrible Bloody Rose in order to enforce the laws of her domain. Though she was killed in the Usurpation, it has now found its way to the Perfect of Paragon. Though the staff's powers are still somewhat of a mystery, it is clear that it can do a number of things. It is able to cause all of those who swear an Oath on it to become bound by powerful magics. Those that break the laws of the domain are punished accordingly, and inescapably. It also seems to allow the wielder to communicate somehow with those who have sworn the oath, and appears to have a life-extending effect. It is unknown if the staff is capable of more, or if the staff would have more to offer to an Exalt.
The Orb[edit]
This item was wielded by Shining Ocelot, in conjunction with The Scepter. It has not been found since the Usurpation, and nothing is currently known of its powers or location.
