Iknik is somewhat of an oddity, being the vaults only Eskimo (and in his mind the last one on earth). Quiet spoken, spiritual and not the brightest spark around, he works as a security guard and gets to stand very still for very long periods of time…Nothing seems to faze him and the vaults children have an ongoing competition to see who can outstare him at breakfast. Notoriously cynical and with several strange habits Iknik has few friends . His days are spent imagining what he would do in the event of an invasion…
Having escaped the doomed vault after the imagined invasion actually taking place, Iknik has proven to be socially inept but a spirited fighter. He managed to over come great odds with the help of his far better qualified friend Amon and new love interest Cecilia..Now they find themselves above ground and with several hundred people to save...
