Patrick Irons

Patrick Stewart Irons, PhD, is a blond man in his mid-thirties, very handsome in a long-haired hippie sort of way, confident and easy-going. He's a more or less respected authority and popular (especially among the female demographic) lecturer and writer on occult and psychic phenomena and associated academia, as well as an active field researcher - he likes to think of himself as an occult investigative journalist - basically, the coolest professor you never had. Also an artist of some note, currently best known for his psychedelic urban landscapes, although he also illustrates his books and has received some minor awards for this work. Unlike most academics, he can also shrug off tactical missiles to the face and toss cars around like basketballs if he puts his mind into it; when active, his powers manifest as a visible aura, looking something like a Kirlian photograph or a phantasmal flaming suit of armour.

Patrick has a habit of wearing literal rose-colored glasses and eschewing shoes whenever he can get away with it. When teaching and on other formal occasions, he usually wears a black two piece suit, unbuttoned, with a tie-dye shirt (and no shoes; if insisted on, he says he's wearing invisible shoes, handily proved by the fact that his feet don't touch the ground).
