I was born to Emma and Jacob Adler, now both deceased. Mom was a researcher studying the psychological effects of war and new weapons on soldiers. Father was an Engineer studying new weapons for the military. They met at an office party, though they had worked on new weapons together before. Father was more aloof, probably from his military stint before he began research. He was a weapons specialist in the army’s Special Forces, starting out as an officer because he already had his engineering degree. I was born a twin, but am no longer. My twin Aliah died in an accident with my parents. I still miss her. I had gone off to college early. She had become disturbed by something. She was constantly scared and depressed. She decided to stay home while I went to school. I inherited everything, was well taken care of, and finished getting a medical degree for psychiatry and a bachelor's in mechanical and chemical engineering. I lost all my funding for research after a hostile takeover of the company I worked for. I’ve given up on people. I finished my schooling for my parents memory, became something for my sister, but now I have no one and nothing. I own a small gun and pawn shop. I do it for the chance to work on guns. It’s my passion from my father. That’s all I do now. And all I am is Alone.
