Pelorum is a Core world where mining barons developed a place of great beauty and pleasure in the spaces carved out of the strip mines.
- Summer 2522 - Planetary authorities are fighting the creation of a massive Alliance Army base in the South Continent. Pelorum has enjoyed relative anonymity since it's conversion from mining to recreation, and worries the army base may deter some vacationers.
