Ryleh (Rye-luh) is an ancient power somehow relevant to the prophecies surrounding the Crimson Star.

House Erinyes

Stheno

Stheno (sth-AY-no) is Lady of House Erinyes. She is the mother of Alecto, Tisiphone, and Megaera. She is the most cunning member of House Erinyes, and puts even her daughters to shame.

Tisiphone

Tisiphone (tiss-IF-uh-nee), only son and greatest disappointment of Stheno, is one of the most straightforward children of House Erinyes that you are likely to meet. A mediocre swordsman who spends too much time watching (and participating in) fights in the gladiatorial area, he keeps in touch with his younger sister and avoids the eyesight of his oldest sister. As a male scion of Erinyes, he often finds himself swept aside as unimportant, and being a male bearing a traditional family name that is usually reserved for a female leaves him in a difficult position. Seeing himself as unwanted, even by himself, Tisiphone has built up a layer of contempt for others that is difficult to crack. There's a storm brewing behind this young man's eyes.

Notably, he enjoys fighting in the arena, and has some reputation for skill with a blade. He is skilled as a gladiator, but it gives him a high degree of hubris: a hubris that brought him face to face with Harbek. Megaera, Harbek's handler, decided that the best way to settle their differences would be an honorable gladiatorial duel, because "noble blood always wins." (This did not end well for Tisiphone.)

Euryale

Euryale (you-rie-ALL) is an elder of House Erinyes, Great-Aunt (and possibly several more greats) to Alecto and Megaera. She trained Alecto in both the Way and in arcane magic.

Reacar (RAY-uh-car) was a rising star of House Markae, until his unfortunate demise by burning while playing bedroom games with Megaera.
