Pike's Crossing
The Dogs Arrive
Brothers Silas, Allen, and Peter arrived in Pike's Crossing, a little settlement on the bank of a fast-flowing stream. They arrived to a child's funeral. One farmer, Ezra, was visibly hysterical. Brother Silas was immediately, deeply moved by the child's death.
The Steward, Simeon Vance, brought the Dogs back to the Temple to unpack. The Dogs had dinner at the Vance table, answering questions from Simeon's curious children.
