I am weary of reanidg analyses of the problem, such as this. I realize that it is the topic you teach and so you keep up with the facts and figures. I want to hear from advocates. We hear from advocates of extending and continuing the business that profits from exploitation of resources everyday. Where are the advocates, on a daily basis, offering concrete proposals for change? Advocating generic change may get you elected if you are running for office, and it certainly is mentioned hypocritically in the Big Energy commercials I see on PBS, but mostly what I hear from the other side even ones as gentle as in this article is guilt trips.I hope that writing this article makes the author feel better. My response to guilt is apathy.
