A large forest,maintained around the southern edge as an Imperial hunting park. The further north you go,however, the wilder and denser the wood becomes. It has been decades since there was any confirmed sightings of the wild elves that gave the wood its name, but superstition abounds among the woodsfolk regarding these elusive wanderers.
