Delilah Quick
Née Delilah Singer, born on Paquin, married Lazarus Quick, traveled with him for a year before becoming pregnant. She insisted on returning to Paquin, to raise their son. They bought a ranch, and struggled for years trying make due. When times got hard she bade him sell his ship. Instead he took back to the spaceplanes to raise money, to send back. She learned quickly not to expect much from him, and learned to run the ranch herself. For while, it did. Eventually, she took her adolescent son to Circus City to work at the casinos, surviving on what was left of her looks.
