The film, the third of the "War Time Era" productions is a first in the Alani series as it features a recurring villain. In the movie the island heroine Alani faces off against the mad Dr Reich (originally seen in Alani and the Silver Skull) who uses a drilling machine in order to harness the power of volcanism as an unstoppable weapon.
