Covenant location[edit]

On the far southern (modern day) border of France and Spain is the community of Codalet, a small village with only a handful of roads, some farmhouses and a little church. Around 1200, this area was the western end of a small territory controlled by the Counts of Barcelona, and historically was an element of the area today recognized as Catalonia/Catalan. For a very long time, this region was controlled by the Moors, though as far into the wilds of the Pyrenees as Codalet is, the influence of Moorish/Muslim was not very strong. Near the town is a Benedictine Abbey known as Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa, founded around 840 CE, which is still active and an occasional destination for public Catalan figures permanently retiring from the hectic life.

Languages: Catalan, Occitan

Major NPCs[edit]

Vestali, an old Bonisagus and head of the Cotes-du-Vent Covenant near Perpignan, who arranged to visit the site himself to investigate. He determined quickly that a fey regio had opened a connection to this area and would likely soon be the source of significant supernatural activity, so he made plans for a Jerbiton of his Covenant to keep vigil over the area while he arranged for more permanent lodgings for others.

Houserules[edit]

Doubling up on the "get 50 xp" Virtues means displacing 25 xp of general life xp.
