Notes & Background
Andreanne was born in a small trading village West of Trident Bay, one that saw a bit of trade with Rezea. She grew up speaking Rezean as much as Aldin, and many still hear an accent in both.
She honed her speech in contests with Rezean children, one of whom - Merria of Clan Anara - she fell in love with. The love was mutual, but when the Clan Chief decided they needed to be elsewhere, Merria went with them, leaving Andreanne heartsick. She could no longer stay.
She'd learned some music, but mostly she knew how to speak clearly, cleanly and persuasively, so she traveled as a bargainer, as a questioner, as a spy - whatever she needed to do to move farther from Rezea.
She came to Elsport only a few months ago, and quickly found herself a woman she was comfortable with, who would share a bed or a dining table, but not worry overmuch about what Andreanne did in the meantime.
Her skills at persuasion brought her to the attention of The Returner. She doesn't plan on staying in Elsport forever, but it's a good gig while it lasts. She's given things a lot of thought, and she's come to a conclusion - if she can become a Noble herself, with her knowledge of the language and people, she's a good fit for a trade representative. She'd live with the Rezean, and she could be together with Merria again.
