History[edit]

Fred is the third son of five, and the fifth of ten children. His father is a well-to-do money-changer, and Fred has never wanted. He's grown up a bit pampered and spoiled, but alwyas yearned for adventure.

At an early age he found that he had a talent for taking things apart, and soon could open the basic locks at his father's business. An encounter with a posion needle trap in a lockbox introduced him to the other side of the family business, and he began studying more of what his father had around to keep his business safe.

He grew careless one day, and his father caught him rifling through a client's lockbox. Incensed, he kicked Fred out. Startled, Fred used what little money he had on him to buy traveling supplies, and set out for Diamond Lake. He had heard that there were adventurers going there to explore some old tombs, and hoped that they could use his skills. If not, well, maybe he could help guard the mines...
