WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO YOU? I fucked it up, man. I just wanted to go back and see one of their early concerts, but I did something wrong, and it changed everything. Now, I'm the only one who remembers that Fleetwood Tull was ever a band, let alone the defining group to come out of the Age of Aquarius, man.
Their entire music catalogue haunts my dreams. Now that's the only place I can even hear it.
Even my collection of vintage Fleetwood Tull t-shirts winked out of existance.
WHAT'S ON THE SURFACE? I'm just a 60's kid in a gen-Z body, a watchmaker with like two clients who dresses the part in white button up shirts, sleeves hastily if perpetually rolled, and an everpresent tailored vest, the one with lots of little pockets on the inside. All I'm missing is the head mounted magnifier lens selector.
Watchmaking is a lost art, man. Folk don't appreciate what goes into a good time piece.
WHAT LIES BENEATH? A bellyful of anxiety and paradox. Every time I change the timeline there is potential for paradox, and while one might be careful not to mess with big things, some little things that create real change might surprise you. Every time I trip a paradox, the universe reorders itself to keep the paradox from happening. Everything changes.
Everything except me. I stay the same. I am the vessel the universe traps paradox inside, and it's boiling me alive, man.
WHAT IS YOUR PATH? Ever heard of a death spiral, man? That is my path. And when I'm gone, where will the universe keep its precious paradoxes then? I hope they all spill out at once, man. I hope they eat the fucking world.
