Setting Details

The game is set in Wildemount, the setting for Campaign 2 of Critical Role. It predates the events of the campaign.

Character Generation

The character generation resources in play are the D&D Player's Handbook, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and The Explorer's Guide to Wildemount.

Table Etiquette and House Rules

Inspiration Everybody starts with 1 inspiration, which refreshes every short and long rest. You can only ever have one, and it can be donated to other players who have zero.

Post Frequency I aim to update two or three times a week, probably one of these will be at the weekend. As discussed, this is my first time running D&D so it will depend largely on how much heavy lifting an update has to do.

PVP Any PVP requires consent from all parties involved. It's up to the player being acted against to decide if they're going to let it stand, act it out IC, or make the other player roll for it. If they say no to PVP, no PVP.

Absences Please keep an eye on the Absences Thread, as I'll post there if I'm not going to be able to update the game (even if I don't get to it on the OOC). If you won't be able to post please post in the Absences Thread if you can.

Alerts Invoking other players (@forumhandle) doesn't work. Additionally, if you get an alert and don't check the thread you won't get another one or new posts. Please keep an eye on the threads either by checking them manually every so often, or via the Watched Threads page.
