In the not quite the beginning

"In the middle ages, everyone was much happier. Well, not the humans obviously...no they died alot and got sick, but well...you know us angels and them demons, we were happier you know. At least back then you knew where you were. You found a demon and you killed it, we made saints back then, actual saints. Soldiers of light would rally to our cause, whole armies....oh those were the days."

"Its not like that now...all this subterfuge and trickery, damn it makes a malakims blood boil thinking of all the evil thats been overlooked because of the big picture...Dominics the big problem of course, his crusade never ended, if only we had someone sensible who understand what it was really like down here, like michael, but no we got stuck with that fop Laurence...well better make do with what we have i guess. Anyways back to work...this cold war crap was more entertaining when it was just the humans doing it..."

Time moved on from open celestial warfare, the days of the crusades are long since over. Now in the 21st century angels and demons fight for souls in the urban sprawls, the workplaces and schools and even on the internet. The world has changed dramatically since the balance of power between each of the superiors was reached and with it, new alliances, new perspectives, new powers rise and old ones fight grimly to survive in a modern world. Some of the attitudes and views of the superiors that might differ from what you were taught up in Yves library or on field assignments is below, take it from me...its not all as they told you.
