Background:

Reynard's father Sir Olaf was disgraced and stripped of his title, leaving Navonne to head into exile rather than face his former noble colleagues. (going to flesh this bit out a lot more).

Returning to Navonne under the alias of Reynard Maldeen, a cloth merchant, Reynard has created an identity as a respectable merchant and guild member by day. Secretly he has joined and risen in the ranks of the thieves guild acting often as a fence able to move stolen items away using the goods caravans from the city __________________
