It did not speak. There were no demands or warnings. The creature simply made a bee line for the city, destroying two fishing vessels and one container ship that happened to be in the the way.

A battle of epic proportions lasted into the darkness of night, leaving many the citizens a firework display to gawk at from their homes. It was determined that the monster could not be stopped and it's destruction had to be chosen to safeguard the city. Concentrating all their firepower in a directed attack, the superheroes let loose a fiery salvo. The creature finally paused for a moment, then withered under the force of the explosion.
