She offers her assistance. She knows where the Queen of Shadow is. She is the most powerful of the elemental rulers. Fi suspects that the Queen is her actual grandmother, with the stories of the unicorn designed to stop rumors. The Queen is a child of the serpent, and a link between the abyss and the end of the universe (Kolvir). She was cursed by the Serpent when she consummated a relationship with the man who stole her father’s eye. She must now lie with a different man each evening until she bears another child. She lives beyond Kolvir. She and her armies attack shadows and absorb them. Fiona gives Clark a ring to take him to the next shadow that she will absorb. Clark decides to be the Shadow Queen’s next lover so he can kill her and takeover the Throne of Shadow. He melts the ring and goes into shadow. It has been taken over by flying monkeys. They whisk him away to prepare him for the evening.

| − | Clark trumps Cyrus. They tell each other they are sitting on their respective thrones. Clark gets a fireproof cloak and goes through. LaRubio swoops forward and is told the Lord of Fire is waiting. LaRubio changes back to human, the doors open, and they go through. Cyrus is on the throne and Clark is standing beside it. Madea is kneeling beside it, looking at Cyrus worshipfully. They all identify who is ruler each of the Realms. Calypso appears in a column of water.

She calls the Eater who says he will consume all Amberites and all of their thoughts, ideas, hopes and religious ideals. He tells her she did not learn the power word before she did away with the Ruler of Air. Clark tries to find an eldersign and locates one under Cyrus’s throne. Cyrus gets it and sees a tyrannosaurus with rotting heads. He keeps it, and she concentrates on everyone who is dreaming of eldersigns. She tries to use that power to attack the Eater and disappears.

He wants her to release the sunken city where Cthulhu sleeps. He warns her of the destruction that is coming if she doesn’t. She says she just wants adoration. He tells her to come with him and he shows her people committing sacrifices and self-flagellation. He says they could be worshiping her as well as the Dark One. She refuses. She strikes at him with her sword but it passes through him. He curses her, saying she will have a thirst but will find water to be like acid. He leaves, and her skin starts peeling back. She changes, and goes back to the Fire Realm. She tells about her experience. LaRubio says he might need to go back to his realm to see what is happening. She plans to

LaRubio goes to his realm and finds an eldersign. He also sees flying mushroom things grabbing people, decapitating them, and putting their brains in jars. He gets the military involved and defeats them with few losses. He makes the realm unfriendly to flying fungi.

In return, he will take care of all of the Elder Gods that are plaguing Amber and her cousins. They talk and she agrees. He wants her to come visit. He changes into a man with green skin. She goes through and they get into a limo. They travel the world going to various design houses, clothes-shopping. He gives her an eldersign and an elder cookie to feed to Clark. He teleports her back to Amber, 100 feet above the castle. She manages to slow herself down enough so she’s not injured.
