=The Three Spheres=

There are three '''Sphere''' ratings which reflect a Dragon's power.

'''Soma''' is the sphere of the physical, reflecting the power of the dragon's flesh, muscle and bone. Draconic breeds with stronger ''Soma'' tend to be physically adept generally, with greater strength, toughness and agility.

'''Sophia''' is the sphere of the mental, reflecting the power of the dragon's mind. Draconic breeds with stronger ''Sophia'' tend to be mentally adept generally, with greater willpower, knowledge and awareness.

'''Pneuma''' is the sphere of breath, reflecting the power of the dragon's soul. Draconic belief has it that breath is the source of magic, of beauty and of inner creativity. Draconic breeds with stronger ''Pneuma'' tend to be more magically adept, more passionate, more creative and more emotionally intelligent.

Note that a Sphere Rating of 50 is average for Dragons.

Humans, in contrast, tend to have a Soma rating of 5-15. All dragons are of course more physically powerful than even the strongest human.

Pneuma/Sophia ratings of 35-45. A particularly slow witted dragon could therefore be as mentally weak as the slowest witted of humans, and the same is true of magical power, social skills and creativity. On the other hand, an average dragon (Sophia or Pneuma 50) is already better than the brightest or most creative of humans.

Your base rating is determined by your Draconic Breed.

The twelve main choices for Breed have Sphere ratings as follows:

    * Pure Dragons:   Soma 40, Sophia 60, Pneuma 50,
    * Argent Dragons:   Soma 60, Sophia 50, Pneuma 40,
    * Solar Dragons:   Soma 50, Sophia 40, Pneuma 60,
    * Hunter Dragons:   Soma 60, Sophia 40, Pneuma 50,
    * Forest Dragons:   Soma 40, Sophia 50, Pneuma 60,
    * Storm Dragons:   Soma 50, Sophia 60, Pneuma 40,
    * Ashen Dragons:   Soma 60, Sophia 50, Pneuma 40,
    * Velvet Dragons:   Soma 50, Sophia 40, Pneuma 60,
    * Chimerical Dragons:   Soma 40, Sophia 60, Pneuma 50, 
    * Ghost Dragons:   Soma 40, Sophia 50, Pneuma 60,

Whereas Spheres are fixed stats, your Energy Pools will fluctuate during the game as you engage in conflicts or carry out actions.
