The wizard specializes in healing magics and helping the townsfolk, and generally being a benefit to the community. Algyss became a wizards apprentice at an early age and was shown quite a bit of the gentler magics. Algyss wants to learn how to do the cool shit like teleport, and blow people up, and making totally badass magic swords, and his master goes on about using power responsibly and how it is a duty to serve and how blah blah blah. So it's time for Algyss to strike out on his own if he wants to learn the REAL spells."
