'''Capsule:''' Hank Pym is a brilliant scientist who developed the Pym Particles, a substance that allows size-changing. He used gas cylinders containing the particles and other paraphernalia he developed to become the superhero Ant-Man. 

Pym is a founding member of the Avengers and one of its more important members. His long career has been plagued by physical and psychological problems, though. Pym abandoned the Ant-Man identity soon after the Avengers founding to become [[Giant-Man]]. He has had many different identities since then, sometimes even returning to being Ant-Man.

-During some periods of his career Pym had the power to change size without the use of the gas, but as Ant-Man he usually depended on the gas cylinders. He would stay indefinitely at ant size until he exposed himself to an antidote gas that brought him back to normal size. If he were to lose his equipment before changing back he would be trapped at ant size. This didn't occur often enough to merit a Flaw, but is a good source for Complications.
