During some periods of his career Pym had the power to change size without the use of the gas, but as Ant-Man he usually depended on the gas cylinders. He would stay indefinitely at ant size until he exposed himself to an antidote gas that brought him back to normal size. If he were to lose his equipment before changing back he would be trapped at ant size. This didn't occur often enough to merit a Flaw, but is a good source for Complications.
