Name
Argent River: The Silver Sunset

Campaign:
City in the Sky

Caste:
Night

Calling:
Wilderness Paragon

Visual description
Argent River is a rather introspective individual, something evident clearly in her demeanour at all times, often seeming as though she is staring off at something that nobody else can accurately see, which probably isn't wholly wrong.

With features almost too delicate to be real, long, silken black hair reaching the level of her knees, a petite, almost etherial frame, and a slight lack of animation, even when in the middle of a conversation, she remains almost eeriely still, and can remain in such a posture for hours, if not days on end, and not move an millimetre until the crucial instant. Noticably, on her left eye, is a peculiar etching in moonsilver--similar to the effect of the lunar tattooing, but lacking the same properties to reject Shaping. The markings in and of themselves represent a slightly broken circle with her eye at the center, the broken portions having been tilted a full ninety degrees to form a series of rays emitting from the eye itself. It's a sign of the respect she's earned from the Silver Pact to this date, and a walking badge that she has earned the moonsilver she wears.

Though she does have a little trouble with her hair around that area, it tends to want to cover that eye over. For this reason, her Essence Sight Visor's clip is usually tilted up and used as a clip to help keep the hair from getting in her way.

Her panolpy itself consists of the aforementioned visor, normally kept in the form of a clip rooted at the temple, it can project a solid, crystalline ruby visor with a touch, permitting the user visibilty of dematerialized beings, as well as interacting with any vision-enhancing Charms the wearer might activate, in addition, she bears a powerbow of stupendous proportions, a stave of the finest orichalcum, alloyed in with woods and bone that have not seen the light of day since the high First Age, and a string crafted from pure, liquid moonsilver, kept intact through the usage of a pair of powerful magical catches on each end of the stave, permitting the material endless flexibility and power, without causing it to fall to pieces. Throughout the whole weapon are glittering traceries of an occult nature, blessing the bow, and providing it with enough metaphysical "Kick" that it's arrows can strike even at dematerialized beings.

However, while all these devices are certainly impressive in their own ways, they simply pale in comparison to her armor, the aptly named Quicksilver Guardian, a device that normally consists of a few simple heavy plates, buckles, and straps, just like any other suit of heavy armor would contain, and about as heavy for the unattuned user as well. The process of attunement though changes this, as the moonsilver moves from it's usual positions, to cover the wearer's entire body closely in the ultra-flexible metal, perfectly defending them from the base of the jaw, to the very tips of the toes and fingers, while providing zero constraints, acting as an invincible second-skin for the wearer. At the point attunement completes, the armor also develops sinuous lines, rivets, and points in various significant regions, providing a design in a similar vein to a fully tattooed and initiated Lunar, announcing proudly all the deeds of the wearer to anyone with the expertise to understand the meaning behind it. While providing no actual benefit beyond the simple application of aesthetics, it was deemed that ordinary looking armor wouldn't be appropriate for the Night Caste that was the Silver Pact's hope for speaking for them if the Deliberative wound up coming together again.

Intimacies
The Circle
They work well, despite occasional faults

Tlalac

Most of you are busy dealing with the cities, and managing on the funds and assistance gained as a result... Myself? I own the forests, the plains, the tundra, to the deserts, and the oceans. Now tell me who's the more influencial?

The Immaculate Order
Zealots who couldn't view reality except through the scope of what they were told to believe, and are willing to bring down the greatest empire currently open to Creation just to make a point that they are correct? I cannot respect them, no matter how much they claim to have been doing a good thing.

The Sidereal Exalted
I've heard rumors of the mysterious Star Chosen through my associates at the Silver Pact... Anyone who can remain well hidden for that long, through the Immaculate Inquisition, the Usurpation, and the hundreds of years since the fall of the First Age can only be up to no good.

History[edit]

Personality[edit]

Apotheosis[edit]

• One incident in which their Limit Break caused problems for another PC.

During an early operation on the way to the city proper, Argent was asked to keep back, and essentially act as sniper support in case things went bad while whoever the Official Group Socialite is was negotiating for supplies. Unfortunately, she had been having a moderately unpleasant last few weeks as seemingly every contact the group had for that business was comprimised, and she shot an arrow through his skull while one of his men charged in to deliver a message, assuming in her own coldly calculating way that it was the first sign of treason... It took a good while to eventually actually find the supplies, and she was very sorry about it later, but it didn't change the fact that it gave many of the various merchants out their an excuse to keep away from the "Accursed Anathema"

• One ally of the Circle.

Tlalac Long Tooth, the leader of the Lunar Pack that had managed to pick up Argent when she was on the run from the Hunt early on in her Exalted life. They were out to pick up another youngling, but the opportunity of molding a young Solar to their way of thinking was just too much to pass over, so she was "Saved" as well, and trained in their arts of woodcraft and such. I'm not sure what PC might have tension with him, but if it helps, he's also been prone to sacking the occasional city here and there that has something he might want..

• One enemy defeated by the PC

Not just one actual enemy, Argent singlehandedly took down an entire rival Circle of Abyssals through shock-and-awe tactics, surprise essence-arrow-from-a-mile-away tactics, and the rather cunning refusal to let them sleep. It was originally supposed to be a delaying action, but when the Daybreak Caste Necromancer had his head exploded the first time he tried to cast a spell, the Dusk Caste worn down through randomized sneak-attacks and eventually pincushioned, and the Day Caste not having the first clue of how to deal with a Solar Ranger in their element ultimately wound up with the entire oncoming force mysteriously dispersing long before they arrived.

The Deathlord behind them, is understandably, quite annoyed at this

• One living enemy of the Circle

See above, the Deathlord who sent that other circle in gave them a lot of equipment and resources, and watched it evaporate against a single upstart... For obvious reasons, he is QUITE irritated.

• An NPC who owes the PC a debt.

Cathak Markus, a high ranking 'Favorite' for taking over house Cathak, due to his incredible military history, and relative devotion to the Empire... On the other hand though, most people don't know that his legendary victory--consisting of having only a single Dragon on hand, and halting the charge of Ma-Ha-Suchi and his barbarian horde head on--was the result of a young Anathema bringing him the information as to where the attack would be focused, and picking off many of the leaders--and a good number of the actual soldiers, blunting the force of the attack as a result. Ma-Ha-Suchi and his ilk still don't have the first clue who was behind their victory, but Markus is well aware of the truth behind this matter.

• An NPC whom the PC owes a debt.

Brilliant Shaper of Art, an elder Lunar Craftsman who was amused by Tlalac's Solar protege, and actually quite astounded at how well she took to their arts. At the time that her initial training was complete, Shaper provided her with the suit of moonsilver armor--as well as a harmonic adaptor so she could properly utilize it--that she still wears to this day. All he asked for was a great favor to be done for him sometime in the future.

• A major change to the setting

Ma-Ha-Suchi stopped growling on the horizon, and actually made a stab at taking over Creation. While he was halted due to the 'Efforts' of Cathak Markus and others littered across the land, he managed to sack much of the civilization in the Far East--and a not inconsiderable amount of the eastern Scavenger Lands as well. While the damage was halted due to the coalition of temporarily united rivals holding fast at the frontier, there's a lot of rebuilding going on at this time in that region.

• A minor change to the setting.

Amoth City-Smiter's shenanagins were discovered as a result of Ma-Ha-Suchi's campaign, and he is currently on the run
