*Baneful Burial-Mound of Bwalin Maior. From the sounds of it, this place is the tomb of a dwarf of the olden days. Now, however, it lies foul and forgotten to all but a few. Apparently it contains riches and dangers in equal measure

*A turbaned merchant in the inn related how near the town of Forest's Edge, his caravan was attacked by a horde of skeletons. With some loss of life and goods, his guards were able to beat off the attack, but all the same, it perplexed him; he had never seen signs of such undeath near said town.

*There are said to be orcs or other similar humanoids, such as hobgoblins or perhaps bugbears, active several days to the southwest. Various local priests and strongmen are said to be offering bounties on orc heads. Perhaps more interesting, these roving humanoids, who have apparently wreaked much havoc and wrought much woe, are said to have come into possession of the Eighty-Seventh Tome of Tursho the Terrible, which is apparently a most rare libram containing potent spells and forgotten enchantments. Its value on the open market is said to exceed thirty thousand pieces of gold.

*Monmo the Magnificent relates that this morning at breakfast-time, he happened to pass near an open window and espy a long-nosed, golden-haired bard singing a song of the great wealth contained in the Shrine of the Ancient Lords. As songs tend to be, it was somewhat vague and metaphorical, but Monmo is sure he would recognize the bard if he saw him again. The man's features and tonsorial choices were uncommon compared to those of the average man in Llut.
