This entire settlement has an anarchic feel at times to it. From its haphazard layout, disrepair and shabby condition of some buildings, rubbish in the streets. Combined with its young age as towns go. Founded 40 years back by a band of bandits that happened upon buried/semi submerged ancient buildings. The band settled down and in time formed Digger Springs. Searching for technology and relics of the ancient past to sell on. Most of the town's working population is focused around the dig teams plying the mudflats with excavations and tunnels or supporting businesses. The diggers care only for the next big score. And drink and party away what little they get meanwhile. Not wanting to go on their next shift in the dig sites with an ounce of life left unlived. The town is made from mudbricks harvesed from the mudflats. or the odd salvaged ceroplast and scrap metal construction.

It is a rough town with rough people. But one that can be a lifeline for selling tech, salvage and such. It also has a heavy need for imported foodstuffs. And anyone disrupting such supply from the caravans that frequent the town will suffer accordingly. Whilst the land around the town is conducive to farming. Most natives here don't care for it. Opting to work despite the hazards of digging down to the ancient earth city below in the chance of striking it rich.

Once a thriving village. This town is a ghost town now after it was sacked by raiders a few years back. Though some still live there it is said.

This settlement is underground. The residents hiding behind milspec grade bulkheads and a great vault-door. Whoever they are is hard to say. More often than not they ward off any outsiders getting close with a warning shot. Then punitive firepower from their advanced weapons and robot footsoldiers. Though rarely they accept trade caravans to approach the complex. Trading advanced medicines and sometimes other pretech items for whatever has driven them to seek outside assistance. Local raiders regularly try and siege the complex.

*(Broketree) The Buckmillers and Cass families have been at odds more than ever. The former are a defacto family of mutants. Mostly associated by adoption. As highshined infants tend to be given to them to look after. Over half the family are mutated. The Casses believe all mutants should be outcast from the wider community. And make a brag about leaving their mutated young to fend for themselves in the woods.

*(Broketree) The Xia family on the south side of the village are having hard times. They are one of the newer families in town and have sunk all their resources into laboriously clearing new land to farm and tend to. The problem apart from the tough, overgrown land though is the activity seems to have attracted mutant wildlife that keeps attacking them. The fauna seem to always be wildly mutated and unnaturally aggressive. Even by wasteland standards.
