Ashleigh Alston rising Queen Bee

Chelsea Gordon is the Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, who routinely rejects Heidi’s more vague photos, and sends her “stories” to the creative writing desk. While she is a skeptic, she is truly committed to truth in journalism.

Jack Chitarelli quintessential Jersey boy. Italian good looks, obnoxiously loud sports car, acts like he's a character in a mobster movie. Thinks he's tough, but will scream and panic if he's ever confronted with the supernatural.

Jessica Frost School Newspaper Journalist

Nicola Renee the adult head and referee of the Historical Combat Club. A self-admitted jock out of place - and feels the whole Black Knight thing is way above her paygrade, she mostly wants to keep the club safe. Also quite an intense DM, to the point people suspect she may be more professional about that than the sport.

Stephanie Nguyen actual It Girl, cheerleading teammate of Mindy's and perpetually nonplussed with Bad Ashley. If there's any snippet of gossip spreading through the school, she knows it, and can usually make a solid estimate of its truth or not. She and Mindy aren't really close, but Mindy's usually one of the pair lifting Steph up for stunts so by necessity they at least respect each other.

Tabitha Graves undertaker's daughter, suffering a severe case of nominative determinism and just discovered early 2000s Hot Topic fashion

Tom Ryan Captain of the Track Team

Vinnie Hinostroza the starting nose tackle on the football team, a hulking mountain of a figure, and the toughest kid in school, or at least everyone believes him to be, as no one has dared fight him in years. In spite of his reputation, and lackadaisical approach to learning, he's generally friendly and cheerful and willing to help a fellow student in need.

Main Article

This seemingly quiet coastal town in downstate NJ is known for three things: The ailing Washington Mall, victim of modern shopping trends; Suncrest, the local amusement park that hasn't had a proper update to a ride in at least 15 years; and being just far away enough from anywhere "big" to make getting there and back awkward without a car of your own. The town was originally a port town, but most of the shipping died out with the Great Depression. It didn't help that a large part of the docks burnt down in 1932.
