This is an in/out of character conversation about the results and time following the first adventure story arc "INVASION FROM THE CENTER OF THE EARTH" that happens after [http://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/The_AVENGERS_-_1889_Back_Issue_Bin#issue_.233 Issue #3] dealing with:
::*  the lose of the Wasp
::*  the remains of the mystic dimensional Mehir stones across the world
::*  any additional follow-up

*  perhaps we should journey somewhere and look at another stone to gather info.  Maybe a trip back to Marshal America's stomping grounds would be good.  A gesture of goodwill to the U.S.A. from the British Empire.  A loan of the world's most talented experts in extraordinary affairs.
*  building an HQ is another possibility.  I don't know if we would devote a whole 1 session story to doing this or if we would just meta game it. Either would be fine with me.   We could tie this in with a local London  adventure like an investigation into this Ripper fella.
*  What do you all think?
* 11/21/07  I like the idea of keeping our HQ in the Tower of London. That way we could use actual drawings and maps of the real tower to keep the Victorian feel while still modifying it to our own team vision.  We may want to wait a few more adventures before putting in power points.  Argonaut, for one is getting some upgrades and it will be difficult to spare the points.  Plus we have to see what D's, Spydy's and J. H.'s tastes, plans, and expectations are before we decide on investing in our HQ.
* 11/21/07  Argonaut is most agreeable to the idea of going to the United States, both to see the young country that inspired heroes like Marshall America, and to tap the brilliant scientific minds that reside there.  However, crossing the pond is always a dangerous and exciting undertaking for a robot with vulnerability to water and corrosion.  Tis the stuff of legend!

*11/27  I like the idea of Strange getting in touch with Native American medicine men, it totally fits.  Argonaut wouldn't understand, but that's OK, it has it's own "medicine" to mind.  I imagine that Marshall America has his own business in the new world, and I'm betting that Peter P. would love to cover events in the U.S.A. for the Daily Trumpet.
Argonaut "feels" that as a fallen champion, Wasp should be given a hero's funeral and be honored with a statue (not life-sized) somewhere overlooking her beloved city. Any ideas?

This gatlin is a specially designed upgrade made from reinforced, high-grade steel and cooled internally via rerouted hydraulic fluid. A higher cyclical rate is achieved by powering the unit with electromagnetic current, and combined with a specially designed alloy tipped bullet for greater penetration power, makes this machine gun one of the most powerful weapons in the Queen's arsenal. Ammo however, is limited.

I really appreciate and encourage the thoughts on where the game goes from here from YOU players.  I really really use that interest and excitement level of feedback to power MY building of the game behind the scenes.  The more feedback and ideas the more I get personally excited for the game - which translates directly to cool ideas, props and the like.  <br>  I would also note that I value YOUR feedback very much.  I have the style of really wanting to USE your constructive feedback to make our games better.  So please offer ideas, but more importantly if you have problems please offer solutions as well.  Ideas that can help me think through to find a better game.  <br>  Then again good feedback is always helpful as well.  If you have things you really liked in the game from props, to storyline, to other player character role-playing and actions.  NOTE them, because then we'll all know what to do more of.  <br> <br> Lastly on this bit -  I love the "CO-CREATED" style game.  So if you have additions to suggest and add to the game world and group.  From in-game details to ideas for making the game environment more fun - please note them!!  It's your game too, help me make it more fun for everyone!

*  Journey for another stone?  I dig it.  I think that these journey's for other stones could be neat prologues for future "issues".  Kind of an opening for the game session to talk about where/when you went to deal with each stone.  Though it's also a great idea to use the wiki "bluebooking" (like this) to make some of those scenes happen.  I figure we could cover the few INTERESTING stone retrievals IN-GAME with the less interesting noted in bluebooks to note when/where they happened.
*  I think your idea for going to the USA as a gesture of goodwill is an EXCELLENT idea that, while I hoped you'd go to the US at some point, I hadn't thought of in this manor.  A very neat point that would bring you to Marshal America's old stomping grounds!  (and maybe some of his 3x3s!!)
*  Eric, I love the points that you have really "GOTTEN" about the style of the "British Government", the idea of good will for the "loan" of Rodgers is very very cool in-character to consider.  The "experts in extraordinary affairs" is also a great homage to a comic like the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen or Planetary or even the X-files.
*  Headquarters!  I'm happy to see you guys do this.  I'm open to you guys really using the Tower of London if you like, which S.H.I.E.L.D.  now runs, but the Avengers could totally update it and use it.  OR you could consider another location.  you could also wait to see if you find anyplace in the future.  Up to you guys.
**  I would suggest that you all pony in 1-2 power points each to form the HQ.  Then whoever's most interested in building it, make the description and base stats so the others can offer additions.
*  I agree that it's not the best option to tie the HQ into a game session.  Most comics won't do this either.  The actual Avengers got their "mansion" in-between the scenes like this.  So if it's good for comics, it's good for our game.  Then again, tying it into local London mysteries would be fine too!  
*  Ripper - for the Ripper killings the next "broadsheet" will open the killings up a bit more for the Avengers to possibly get more involved.  It'll note ideas toward the thing I noted about the Ripper killings being all perpetrated on the more nefarious men of renown (ie. Supervillains) that have been powered by mechanics and armors.
*  I'd also like to hear if you players have LIKES or things you want to get involved in for the upcoming story arc(s).  If you have something from the broadsheets or from PC 3x3s or anything else Marvel Comics inspired.  Please note your requests and ideas here so that I can brainstorm on them and add them into the campaign.

• a trip to the Colonies could be very eventful & give the team a chance to uncover information on one of the stone across the water. 

• The good doctor would welcome any meetings with Native Americans & their "medicine" men. He has never experienced American mysticism & would love to see another POV of the Art.
