Ayla Vida is the result of one of the many many experiments done in the Thousand Gods area before the shattering. She woke up a few years ago and spend her days absorbing knowledge from what remains of the secret research facility. The hidden research station isn't in territory of one of the tribes because the people of her secret research station retreated to other, bigger station before the disaster. And it then left forgotten since the researchers turned thousand gods couldn't care less for it. So her primary contact is with the Godless that sometimes wanders by. She gets stuff and news from them, and they sometimes gets help from her.

Finished absorbing all of the knowledge from the hidden research station, Ayla wanders out, exploring the world to satisfy her thirst for knowledge and curiosity. Before leaving, Ayla repaired some of the function of her hidden research station so the Godless could still come and trade like usual. She also put up a ward so that the hidden research station will remain hidden. Except for the Godless, her followers, & other people that she allowed.

The reason that her place isn't in the territory of one of the tribes there is because the people of her secret research station retreated to other, bigger station before the disaster. And it then left forgotten since the researchers turned thousand gods kinda don't care about that anymore. So her primary contact is with the Godless that sometimes wanders by. She gets stuff and news from them, and they sometimes gets help from her.

Her first stop is the Toban plains right outside the jungles of the Thousand Gods. There she doesn't do much different than when she does back in her station. She helped a couple of people while studying the Lesser Strife of Falling Sky from the monasteries over there. After a while, She continues her journey to Kasirutan Isle by hitching a ride with one of the many merchant ships heading there. After spending some time in the Isle (learning another lesser Strife, helping people in passing, etc) she heard about the situation in Ancalia from a passing group of Treasure Hunter. They are boasting about the riches to be found in the ruins of Ancalia. Intrigued with all the ancient knowledges that are now ownerless, Ayla boards the same ship as the group of treasure hunter
