Bush Ranger is skilled in Australian Aborigine weapons such as the spear thrower, boomerang and nulla nulla club.  He has a specially manufactured spear thrower and spear that can be disguised as a cane.  The thrower part also functions as a billy club and has a flint tip for starting fires. The javelins he usually carries have a leather tip filled with lead shot and therefore do not do deadly damage (though the leather tip can be removed quickly to reveal a usual point underneath).
