Character Bio

Birth Planet: Londinium

A battlefield medic, Bean attained the rank of corporal in the war. Xiàshì. And people trying to kill him to death notwithstanding, it had been good for him, siding with the Independents, fighting for folk to be free. It had given him a place and a purpose in ways his posh and mannered Londinium upbringing never had.

But the war had ended. Freedom gave way to an uneasy peace, and life lurched forward again. Mostly in spite of him.

He drifted aimless about the 'Verse in the aftermath, hopping from planet to planet, station to station, experience to experience, at one point even earning himself a name among the Tong. Duìzhǎng. Captain.

Turns out he was more adept at clawing his way up through their ranks than he had ever been in the military.

He ever ran into that crew again, explanation would be demanded, and Bean suspected the simple truth was not going to sit square in that reckoning.
