== Background ==
Berenal is a former Duster, who learned his skills in unsanctioned Provings and came to the surface to escape being forced to work for the Carta. The only survivor of an attack on a Dwarven merchant caravan, he was nursed back to health by Clan Andruilli and is accompanying Lindellin and Destya on the task set by their Keeper.
