LibDem is stuffed with bigots, yet even minor criticism toward them is a group attack.

'''Aleister''' is a good natured individual, a little awkward, but well meaning. If some people have a silver tongue, Aleisters' is lead. Hard labour was his stock and trade, mostly working on the docks and local shipping routes, but he never let his mind atrophy. Many evenings were spent with an old book, belonging to his grandfather, who was considered a great wizard if the stories were true. His somewhat gullible nature is offset by the razor sharp wit of his friend, Theryn. With their meager savings in hand, the two friends secured passage to Perrenland so Aleister could work to join the Pax Mercuri. While he waits for his chance to join Lodevik's mercenary company, he stays with Hanner Dyn and offers his services as a shoreman.

When will you Libs decide that dissing Nazis is bad because "Not all Nazis", I wonder?

'''Theryn''' was never the smartest person in the room, but where knowledge failed, a silver tongue prevailed. Popular without much effort, Theryn rarely found himself wanting for company. In the rare events that his gregarious nature gets him into trouble, Theryn relies on Aleister to provide protection. Theryn often finds himself interested in and learning old tunes about the old days of strength, honour and morality. He sees an opportunity to travel with his friend and spread the songs of old. Leano the Metalsmith was a huge intrest to Theryn with stories of honor and battle drawing him to the forge. A good frind to the old smith.

'''Panorin Raethran (Silvermoon)''' After many years studying at a monastery in the Vesve Forest, Panorin was encouraged by his master to venture out on his own. The teachings of his school were to spread the wisdom of meditation and prayer, especially to other elves. Silvermoon, through prayer, was guided to Hannar Dyn and this to Bludstein. Currently, he works as a laborer for Hannar, with his quickness and knowledge of the halfling language making him useful.

He has sworn his Oath, and the Order of the Silver Cudgel has initiated him as a Hunter among their ranks. Now, he has been sent out into the world to spread St. Cuthbert’s justice and His rule of law to those who would deny it.

Members of the Order of the Silver Cudgel (sometimes seen as little more than mercenaries, bounty hunters, and monster slayers by other factions of the Church of St. Cuthbert) often feel drawn to the fringes and ragged edges of civilization, providing their service to those in need for a fair tithe. Ultimately, though, they seek the destruction of chaos, corruption, and evil, in that order and care for little else. Solomon, though fresh in the field, zealously shares those priorities.

'''Panorin Raethrin (Silvermoon):''' Panorin has come to this region because, he believes, Corellon Larethain has guided him here. However, he is unsure as to why the leader of the Elven gods would send him to a land where there are practically no elves. Nevertheless, he follows where opportunity and inspiration lead him.

She has spent her life learning to hunt, how to track and move without sound. '''Florian Shortsail, Halfling Fighter:'''  Florian was born to a lady of the evening in a halfling village. Florians father Fairin was young and sailing under a pirate captain at the time but quickly left the life behind when Florians mother abandoned him in Fairins arms at only a few days old. Fairin found work as a bargeman shortly after and Florian grew up on the decks of cargo vessels chasing rats and seagulls around, and learning all about traversing the water. Fairin never wanted his son to know he had been abandoned by his mother, so he always told him his mother was a beautiful water fey, who had to return to the sea. He made Florian a small conch shell necklace but told him that it was left to him by his mother. Being left without his mother milk as a baby resulted in Florian being Stunted and skinny. But what he lacked in size and strength he made up for in dexterity and courage. when he was about 16 he and his father took up a job hauling building materials and the like to a new settlement in the sepia uplands, a place called Bludstein. Exhilarated by the prospects of adventure in a new and wild frontier, Florian set out with high hopes. He had heard tales of the Iron mountain Raiders and their prowess and quickly decided that impressing Lodevik, the captain of the Raiders, would be his best opportunity to see some real action and learn how to be the powerful warrior he dreams of being.

'''Valiand the Mage, human...magic user?:''' Valiand Parnassis Lechance, or Valiand the Mage, had been running his scams for years; fleecing marks with slight of hand, deception and misdirection. He made a decent living at it, too, until one day, quite suddenly, Valiand had real power. True to his nature, he has concocted a two-fold tale involving his formerly faux spells begining to work, and having no idea why. In this version of events, out of equal parts fear and a desire to become more powerful, Valiand sought out a wizard to train under. In reality, Valiand had grown tired of faking the part, and when one of his cons took a sour turn he was approached in a moment of weakness by a trio of what appeared to be old witches, offering him power in exchange for acting as their agent on the new frontier. It was at their insistence that Val saught out Sarula, and it is through his dreams that the coven control and direct him. Maybe Sarula knows that he isn't quite what he appears, maybe she doesn't - either way she has agreed to take him on as an apprentice.
