Trick0002.png

The difference between gods and devils? Perspective.

Aspects

High Concept - Walker of the Ways Between

Shade can teleport himself anywhere he can see.

Background - Son of Stone and Shadow

An archaeologist in the 1920's, Jacob fell under an Aztec curse that changed him into the being he is today with flesh of animate stone and the ability to take on the substance of shadow.

Trouble - Possessed by the Jaguar Priest

The spirit of an ancient Aztec priest indwells Shade and is able to whisper suggestions, truths, and lies and sometimes even compel Shade to specific action.

Free Aspect - Better to have Loved

Shade very much wears his heart on his sleeve

Free Aspect - Immortality is Great, but the Music Sucks

Shade no longer suffers the effects of aging, but he tends to be very 'Get Off My Lawn' about anything new.

Stunts

Master of Shadow - Because I can become shadow and move unheard and unseen, I gain +2 when I Carefully Create Advantage while in shadow form.

Falling Mountain - Because I can travel instantly by the Ways Between, appearing suddenly out of nowhere, I gain +2 the first time I Forcefully teleport in to Attack a target.

Gate of Janus - Once per scene, my mastery of the Ways Between allows me to be fully in two places at once.
