Currently 28, he returned to his home a year ago after an absence of 13 years, much of spent as a traveling troubadour, until his wagging tongue got him into a predicament his wagging tongue couldn’t get him out of. Taking the vows of the Order of St. Francis started as a ploy to escape his pursuers, but he has come to see his prior life of self-centered seduction and general roguery as wrong, and he is sincerely seeking to make amends by putting himself at the service of the people of his hometown. His natural charm has overcome the initial skepticism of his last surviving brother and the parish priest, and his actions to prevent a feud between a pair of hotheaded young squires from turning bloody has won him at least one ally in the upper classes.
