==Personality==

Every group has one: the hothead. His volatile temperament has gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion.  But at his core; he has a good heart. And his impressive skill makes him able to backup his teammates with split second action.  Not one for good dinner conversation, but in a fight to the finish, he is the one man you want watching your back.

==Physical Appearance==
At barely over five feet tall, Clockwork is a short fellow with black hair and brown eyes.  The good doctor does not look like others in his profession.  With working man's hands, he looks more like an auto-mechanic.  Broken more than once, his nose is wide and his dark skin bears many faint scars.  He often stands arms crossed and lips pursed as if he is disapproving of something.

==Battle Tactics==
"Tactics? What's that?" Much to Talon's dismay Clockwork has not learned the value of teamwork yet. His style is to leap right in and overwhelm his opponents. Does this always work? No. But his talents have colored his judgment and experience tells him he handle himself. He is the kind to grin during a bar fight.

"A tremendous explosion echoed among the Olympic Mountains.  The thunder that rolled across the countryside was caused by a meteorite slowing to the sound barrier.  The impact on Mt Seattle decimated four square miles but caused only two casualties due to the sparse population; Dr James Price and David Price.  James was rescued by helicopter and is in critical condition, whereas his brother David is missing."

David was never found.  Although not expected to live, James made a miraculous recovery.  He spent the remainder of the summer searching the area for his brother or at least his remains.  Shortly after this James's meta-human traits began to surface.  In another cruel twist of fate, he made a desperate decision to save a patient's life that caused him to lose his medical license.  Using 'powers' is a violation of protocol regardless of the outcome.

James found himself living and working in Rust City.  Most find the area a dangerous and unsavory place to be, let alone live.  But James came to know that it has its charm.  There is no disputing it's crime or lack of law enforcement.  But along the northwest edge of Rust City is where some of Seattle's finest dance halls naturally developed.  Sandwiched between the civility of Seattle and the racy adult entertainment of Rust City, this small district took an art deco, 1930's feel.

It was during this time that he assumed the identity of Clockwork for the first time.  Building a sort of trust with the local criminal element, James works as a bartender at the Painted Lady.  He always keeps his ear to the ground.  James keeps Clockwork at a low profile, rarely acting directly against the local gangs and crime lords.  Too much for one man, besides there is always plenty of other thugs to keep life interesting.

* '''Origin''':  Within the meteor was an ancient alien artifact.  Made of two components, the "control" module fused with James. Hid in his chest, it is only detectable as an extra organ of unknown purpose.  James is totally unaware of this.

* '''Miss Madeline''':  Singing at the Painted Lady, the beautiful Miss Madeline is quite the asset to the club.  Considered a fixture of the dance hall, she can be heard purring to the sound of the big band.  Often on the arm of the most powerful man in the room, she overhears lots of interesting things.  She and James have been good friends over the years, always watching each others back.  A good asset in that district.

* '''The Hammer''': (Enemy to Clockwork identity)  On a few occasions, Clockwork and The Hammer have met.  Each and every time,  Clockwork has been sorely outmatched.  Only by the skin of his teeth has Clockwork been able to save lives of those entangled in his schemes.  The Hammer is a meta-human crime boss whose base of operations is Rust City.  He has a hand in much of the black market operations within the abandoned Daedalus Project.  If it involves the sale of goods, services, or people; he is involved.
* '''Sham''': It is a doppelganger to the highest degree.  Sham's sex and age are not known, although certain law enforcement agencies have spotty information on his activities dating back 80 years.  He need only to touch the tiniest sample to copy a person down to the DNA.  About five years ago, Sham settled down finding a cozy home in the crime ridden slum that developed from Daedalus.  He doesn't like that Clockwork keeps interrupting him when he is having fun toying with humans.
* '''David Price''':  Unknown to Clockwork, his brother did survive.. after a fashion.  Hidden deep under the soil, he sleeps, the other alien artifact embedded into his body. Without the control device the forces wielded by the main device within David are wildly uncontrollable.  Should David awaken, it is impossible to predict how much of his mind has survived or how he would react to the god-like power.

* '''Painted Lady''': Just northwest of the failed Daedelus Project in Rust City, this exorbitant dance hall and club is one of those rare public places where the elite mix with the thinly veiled less savory.  Its art deco styling and choice of music harken back to more jovial times. The band plays loud enough to keep secrets secret.  The security in this establishment is unmatched, despite its retro outer appearance.
* '''Rust City''':  With its core being the massive rusted circular structure, it is an almost fated that the name Clockwork would call this place home.  Clockwork is somewhat of a legend among the lost and homeless that inhabit this forgotten district.  Some think he is the rusted structure's vengeful spirit.  Rust City doesn't solely rely on him for justice, but sometimes he is all it has.
* '''Olympic National Park''':  Located on the Olympic Peninsula, this wilderness area contains dense old growth rainforest, natural hot springs, and treacherous snowy mountains.  Although beautiful, this area can become dangerous to the inexperienced or lost.  Clockwork spent a lot of time here as a kid growing up and later searching for his brother.
