Promethean is kind of difficult to make a character with. On one hand, you've got no past, so you're theoretically free to go in a lot of directions. How did I get this way? Well, I was built for it. And hey, I don't have to explain anything else! But people don't like you, pretty much be default, so they're pretty much all Nosferatu plus they radioactivate anything they're nearby. They're like one-man Fallouts, plus providing their own ghoul population. (Ghoulsville, Pop: 'throng')

The game facilitates play pretty effectively. Here are your awesome powers, they more or less don't get in the way of your concept, and you can pretty much pick one that generically supports it which I find to be a plus after my difficulty with Changeling. Other then that, I'm building with NWoD, which is a good generic modern character generator. I guess the only thing I'm missing are some more Merits. Man, I always want more Merits. I guess that's because every bit of your support system is generated with them - housing, money, mental states, physical perks - some of which are at-creation-only and pricy (Encyclopedic Knowledge, I'm looking at you), pretty much insuring that buying them leave no points for other things.

Anyway, yeah. Ivan rolls sick dice at being a doctor, and if you're a Promethean, there's always Revivification...
