Starmetal Daiklave: Snow Light
Snow Light is a beautiful weapon, made from a brilliant starmetal alloyed with blue jade and white gold. The hilt is inlaid with a pattern of delicate, interlocking pale blue snowflakes overlaid with a filigree of silver, and it is perpetually cool to the touch. Snow Light has a destiny laid upon it –if it is drawn from its harness, then it must shed blood before it returns. Its creator, Cloud’s previous incarnation, created it this way so that she would never draw it rashly or in haste. Although she was one of the greatest sword-fighters that the fencing schools of Paradise ever produced, she drew it only three times throughout all her long existence.

Starmetal Reinforced Breastplate: The Frozen Symphony This suit of armour is crafted from shimmering, ethereal starmetal and every inch of it is covered in dense musical notations in silver and cold blue, seeming to swim just below the translucent surface of the armour like beautiful koi under ice. It makes ringing, chiming sounds as the wearer moves, and its song changes according to his movements –in battle, its song becomes a rousing battle hymn.

This armour is believed to be the last song of the bard and mystic Diamond Hand, who travelled into the Underworld to try and petition the Neverborn themselves to return his love to him. His music froze in the cold of the Labyrinth, and was later recovered and crafted into armour by the goddess Mahara, who had herself nursed an unrequited love for the singer.

The Cloak of the Magician (3 dot Artefact)
The Cloak of the Magician is a plain white travelling cloak, which does not appear in the slightest impressive. That is its function. Wrapped around the wearer, the cloak completely and effectively conceals everything underneath it –even grand daiklaves and full sets of orichalchum plate. These will only be revealed to the naked eye if the wearer deliberately throws the cloak back.

The Cloak also has other properties. Its inside is lined with numerous pockets that actually act as portals to Elsewhere. Provided one can fit the articles inside one of the pockets, the Cloak has limitless capacity. Cloud has already stuffed it with innumerable potentially useful items, including months’ worth of food, flowers, live white mice and doves, dice and a cup, papyrus and writing equipment, maps and an endless supply of throwing knives, the last of which he can launch straight from his cloak in a great swarm of silver.
