| − | Lawrence grew up in Virginia, well enough off his family even owned slaves. Life was fine until about the time West Virginia separated from the state and didn't release their slaves. Around this time, a slave, owned by his father, took it upon himself to come kill his masters so he may be free and go north with his family. The man sneaked into the house quiet as a mouse, Lawrence however was able to wake up in time before the slave struck a killing blow. Larry does not know why he somehow could hear the man, but he found he could hear everything so pristinely clearly. The ability saved his life, but that was not the end of it for Larry. At the most inappropriate times Larry would hear, smell, taste, or feel something so intensely that it has made him quite paranoid and mentally unstable. Not long back he was sent up north to live in St. Christina's Institute where they have kept him secure in the most sound-proof area they could, and even then he sometimes screams of the noise. It was another special operations agent that found Larry and calmly explained his situation and how he might help.
