Called John by friends and family, Cmdr. Wise is the Captain of the Brigantine Upsilon class IAV Aceso, a hospital ship assigned to the Alliance Naval Fleet (2nd) on patrol in Red Sun.
April, 2522 - Wise takes on the crew and passengers of Durance class Equinox in a rescue operation and discovers one of the crew may be his lost son, Lt. Cmdr. Rex Wise, missing and presumed dead since June 2520.
