Oracles just happen. No one in human history has ever been able to find out what causes Oracles. Strange magic. Random chance. Fate? No one can say.
What is clear is an oracle usually has their first vision around puberty. When they say vision Oracles are underselling their gift. A vision is a full sensory experience, all five senses are triggered, and usually layered with cryptic symbols.
Visions can be channeled and controlled by using prophetic tools. Crystals, tarot cards, runestones. Something.
Every city and culture in the world have different oracles. What each seem to agree on is this. The future is hell.
