Crusader

As a government agent and military veteran, he was given a most dangerous job. To infiltrate a super crime syndicate and report on their activities from within.

All was going well, till they found out that has a plant. They called him into the lab and captured him. They decided that it would be a waste to just kill him, they brainwashed him to be the agent that they wanted in the first place. They sent him out on his first mission.

Killing his target was so traumatic to him, that it broke his conditioning. He is wanted for murder and the crime syndicate is still after him, but now he prowls the streets as a vigilante. He makes no distinction between "heroes" and "villains" you brake the law, you pay the price.
