ORCUS IS!!"  of the undead horde of the Chaos Cults of the Demon Prince somewhere in the temples beyond, the martyrs arm and equip the Dragonborn priestess and set forth back into the temple halls.  The Elf-Killer catches the scent of something odd on the wind... the smell of dragon-kin, similar to Jadescale but different.  The trio make their way to be surprised by Goy'az being battered about by the protector of one who they would learn had brought the Spawn of the Emerald Mountain (a dragon egg) into the Choas Temples.  Defeating the protector and interogating the magic-user (who may or may not be the infamous Bargel) the goblin and gnoll were attacked by a slim monster hiding beneath the floors of the torture facility! Seemingly a "man in armor" stood beyond the "door" now and then tilting/bobbing as if looking into the murky glass - this was actually the skeletal remains of an unfortunate digestion of the cube.  When our heroes arrived, the thing had been drawn by its tremorsenses when Imnar and Minsore tapped their way into the room from the secret passages leading from the Hobgoblin/Gnoll Lairs. The gelatinous cube had been sliding through the dungeon corridors, absorbing everything in its path, digesting everything organic and secreting non-digestible matter in its wake. But when Imnar attempted to "open" what he thought was a doorway... upon contact with its exterior grasp him inward - engulfing the little goblin with a paralyzing electric shock, and was beginning to proceed to slowly digest its stunned and helpless prey.  <br> This monster will be forever also known as -  "'''the Varanda Door'''" of doom...
